The discipline of Pharmacology deals with the studies related to interaction of drugs and living beings as mechanism of action, therapeutic effects, adverse effects, drug interactions etc. The Department of Pharmacology provides a vibrant and dynamic environment for conducting high quality research and teaching. Collectively the department is committed to teaching and practices with giving the practical knowledge based on the simulation practical by using Ex-Pharma Series Software. There is giving a strong and knowledgeable environment in the department for taking initiative of students in the Postgraduate and other research project after completion of graduation.
The laboratory is well equipped with instruments like rota-rod apparatus, digital activity cage, digital analgesiometer (Hot Plate & Tail Flick Apparatus) and histamine chamber. Other routinely required instruments like student’s organ bath, Sherington’s Kymograph, haemometers & haemocytometers are present in good number for handling by undergraduate student. Various models are equipped in laboratory as like Skeleton body various bones and tissue sample for the giving knowledge about the anatomical & Physiological knowledge.
The scope of Pharmacological training opens a wide range of employment opportunities to the pharmacy students in hospital and clinical pharmacy, academia, industry and government organization etc.

Ø Study of Human Skeleton
Ø Microscopic and gross study of organs
Ø Haematological experiments such as clotting & bleeding time determination, blood group detection, Hb estimation & blood cell count
Ø Bioassay of unknown drug
Ø Effect of various drugs on organs.
