ROLES OF TRAINING AND PLACEMENT COMMITTEE

The Training and Placement Cell of our institute plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the students and potential employers. Their primary responsibility is to facilitate the successful placement of graduate students by coordinating various activities and providing necessary support.

1. Industry Interaction:

Establish and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, research institutions, and other relevant organizations to facilitate collaborations and placement opportunities for students.

2. Placement Preparation:

Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance students’ skills in areas such as resume writing, interview techniques, communication skills, and overall personality development.

3. Internship Opportunities:

Facilitate and coordinate internships for Pharmacy students in reputed pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, hospitals, and other relevant organizations to provide practical exposure and industry experience.

4. Career Guidance:

Provide individual career counseling and guidance to students, helping them explore various career paths within the pharmaceutical industry and make informed decisions about their career choices.

5. Alumni Network:

Establish and maintain an alumni network to leverage their expertise and industry connections for the benefit of current students. Alumni can be invited as guest speakers, mentors, or industry contacts.

6. Industry Collaborations:

Collaborate with pharmaceutical companies and research institutions for research projects, industrial training programs, and other industry-academia initiatives, fostering a strong bond between the college and the industry.

7. Placement Records and Reports:

Maintain records of placement statistics, including the number of students placed, salary packages offered, and company-wise placement data. Generate reports for internal analysis and to showcase the college’s placement track record to potential recruiters.

8. Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, job requirements, and regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical sector. Continuously assess and enhance the placement policies, strategies, and programs to ensure students are well-prepared for the evolving job market.
